It was only a few days ago when Sony revealed that its version of Destiny 2 would come packed with a ton of exclusives. While the trailer did state that the exclusives would be timed, there has been news published that it will never be coming to the Xbox or PC. However, we have now confirmed that this is in fact, untrue.
According to Multiplayer.it, who held an interview with Destiny 2"s director, Luke Smith stated that exclusives like the Strike: Lake of Shadows, exclusive gear for players, ships, a PvP map, and exotic weapons - will not be arriving on the Xbox or PC versions of the game. Luckily, it appears that the report is incorrect, with Smith chiming in on Twitter to let folks know that the exclusive content will be coming to other platforms in 2018.
Through various reports, it has been rumored that Sony will have rights to these exclusives for a year. The tweet above seems to corroborate this, as the game is set to arrive at the end of the year, with the exclusive content making its way to the Xbox and PC in 2018. Destiny 2 is being shown off at E3 this week and will arrive on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC, later this year.
