Zotac introduces the Magnus EN970, a mini PC that packs a NVIDIA GeForce GTX 960

Zotac has introduced what can only be described as a mini PC on steroids. While we have detailed mini PCs from Zotac before, the Magnus EN970 offers far more power and ports than your typical mini PC.

The Magnus EN970 arrives in two options: a EN970 and EN970 Plus. Although both offer the same base specifications, the EN970 is a barebones unit, while the EN970 Plus offers a pre-installed 120GB SSD and 8GB of RAM.

The Magnus EN970 offers:

  • Intel Core i5-5200U
  • NVIDIA GeForce GTX 960 (3GB GDDR5, 192-bit)
  • 2 x DDR3L-1600 slots (up to 16GB)
  • 4 x HDMI 2.0
  • SD slot
  • Ethernet port (10/100/1000Mbps)
  • 802.11ac + Bluetooth 4.0
  • 4 x USB 3.0, 2 x USB 2.0

Although this may not be the most robust unit on the market, it certainly packs quite a bit of hardware for a mini PC. While Zotac has not listed the sizing specifications for the unit, we have reached out to get proper measurements and can only assume that it is similar to its previous ZBOX units. Zotac has not offered a price or date of availability for the Magnus EN970 or Magnus EN970 Plus.
