ZTE officially released the Axon 10 Pro 5G to the Chinese market today, adding to the list of 5G smartphones in the country after the launch of Huawei"s Mate 20 X 5G. The Axon 10 Pro 5G was first announced earlier this year at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Spain.
The device will be supported by China"s three major wireless carriers including China Mobile, China Telecom, and China Unicom. Pre-orders for the handset kicked off online last month at a price of ¥4,999 (~$722).
The phone sports a 6.47-inch AMOLED display with a 1080p resolution. It also has an in-display fingerprint sensor. Camera-wise, the device includes a triple camera on the back consisting of a 48MP main sensor, a 20MP ultra-wide camera, and an 8MP telephoto shooter.
Under the hood, it is powered by Qualcomm"s Snapdragon 855 SoC paired with the Snapdragon X50 5G modem. ZTE also notes that its AI performance engine allows the phone to handle whatever task you throw its way by automatically adjusting the CPU, GPU, RAM, and ROM resources.
Aside from China, the phone is also set to become available in Europe, although there"s no exact word on its availability in the region yet.
