ZTE announced today that its latest flagship handset, the Axon 10 Pro, can now be pre-ordered in the U.S. The 5G version of the phone went on sale in China earlier this month after its unveiling at this year"s Mobile World Congress.
The phone will be available to buy for $549 for the 8GB variant and $599 for the 12GB configuration. Pre-orders open via retailers including Newegg and B&H as well as via ZTE"s online storefront in the U.S.
Brad Li, CEO of ZTE USA, said:
“We are thrilled to bring the Axon 10 Pro to the U.S. market, the next-generation of the ZTE Axon flagship brand and the successor to the Axon 7 for us in the United States. Smartphones are getting more expensive—it’s a universal trend—and at ZTE we remain committed to providing consumers with cutting-edge innovation and the features they want most, while remaining extremely affordable. Making the Axon 10 Pro available to our U.S. consumers delivers on that brand promise and commitment.”
The Axon 10 Pro sports a 6.47-inch AMOLED display with a 2340 X 1080 resolution and a 3D curved glass design. Under the hood, it is powered by Qualcomm"s Snapdragon 855 SoC paired with either 8GB or 12GB of RAM. Its built-in storage capacity is 256GB, expandable up to 2TB with a microSD card.
The Axon 10 Pro also supports the F2FS file system. It packs a 4,000mAh battery with support for Qualcomm"s Quick Charge 4+. The phone runs Android 9.0 Pie and it"s scheduled to receive Android 10 before the year ends.
