ZTE doubles down on the Blade V8 series by introducing the 'Lite' and 'Mini'

At CES 2017, ZTE debuted its Blade V8 Pro handset that offered quite an impressive feature set but was priced extremely fair at $229.98. Now, a month later, the firm has arrived in Barcelona at Mobile World Congress with its latest offering in the series, the Blade V8 Lite and Blade V8 Mini.

The Blade V8 Mini offers an elegant design the looks a bit more refined than the Blade V8 Pro. The handset offers the same dual-camera setup of a 13MP and 2MP sensor but scales back the power by offering a Qualcomm Snapdragon 435 processor and 2GB RAM.

Full specifications for the ZTE Blade V8 Mini:

  • 5-inch HD display
  • Qualcomm Snapdragon 435
  • 2GB RAM
  • 13MP + 2MP rear camera, 5MP front-facing camera
  • 16GB storage with expansion via microSD
  • 2800mAh battery
  • Android 7.0 Nougat
  • microUSB and 3.5mm headphone jack
  • fingerprint reader

The Blade V8 Lite offers a similar design to its V8 Mini, but does away with the dual camera setup and instead offers a single 8MP camera. The handset is also powered by a MediaTek 6750 SoC with 2GB RAM.

Full specifications:

  • 5-inch FHD display
