Garry
My MVLS doesn't look like that and I don't see Vista SP1 on there... weird. Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/618741-vista-sp1-watch-this-space/#findComment-589198622 Share on other sites
Arkos Reed
yea, it's the old MVLS layout, prolly faked, Server 2008 and Vista SP1 aren't present yet on MVLS (tho we DO have keys for server 2008) Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/618741-vista-sp1-watch-this-space/#findComment-589198941 Share on other sites
DrCheese
yeah not on my MVLS either, if you follow bink's source all the way it ends up with this site http://kurtsh.spaces.live.com/default.aspx He says it shows up on the old layout, but not the new one. However his instructions didn't work for me either. Also his screenshot only shows the enterprise one which I'm not interested in at all. Connect only has the standalone for download. lsquare
Vista SP1 RTM was released to beta testers on Feb 6th thru Microsoft's Connect site. Here are the details from the downloads made available. Do you have the MD5 or SHA-1 hash available for the slipstreamed SP1 image? Did Microsoft put that information up on MSDN or TechConnect? DrCheese
It's pretty much impossible to get hold of it via MVLS, I don't even know why that MS guy posted the screenshot of it given that you simply can not access the old style MVLS, even if you follow his instructions. He says to click the downloads link on the main page instead the one on the navi bar, but when you look at the linked URL's, they both go to the same place. MS have made such a mess of this release, there was really no need to delay it the way they have. I can understand hiding it on Windows update however.
