Neowin - MacWorld 2004 iChat

Recommended Posts

Hey all, I thought it would be rather intresting if all Neowinians with iChat come along for a chat during the Keynote

Just pop when the Keynote starts (9AM PT & 5PM GMT)

AIM ChatRoom name = NeowinMacWorld

Keynote Stream Page = http://stream.apple.akadns.net/

Hope to see some of you there

Somehow, I don't see how you can on AIM. Been looking through the menus, and unless I'm blind (which is totally possible), it isn't there.

The only way that I see that it could be possible is if you go to:

  • People
  • Send Chat Invitation...
  • In the "Chat Room:" box, physically enter NeowinMacWorld
  • Send

It will probably also be archived on the Apple site for quite some time. I know the keynotes from last year are still there (can't remember the exact address at the moment).

That appears to have worked, but I don't currently see anyone in the room. I guess I'll find out for sure in about a half hour.

If your using AIM on Windows type this into IE:

aim:gochat?roomname=NeowinMacWorld

Then press enter AIM should open and take you to the room, we are in there now :)
