1) Get a job and get a legit copy of windows.

2) Get an isp to connect to the internet so autoupdate connects.

I think I know why... Last night while I was asleep, Automatic Updates did its thing. I woke up to a rebooted computer. My computer has been working perfectly for like years, no formats. Now nothing works internet wise except Firefox. Nothing else works. AIM, E-mail, MSN, etc. Windows Update doesn't even work anymore. Those patches screwed something up majorly...

I have Automatic Updates on and set for 10 A.M. (about 4 hours and 15 minutes ago). It didn't update anything for me :p
