Ghostdraconi
I'm so glad that I held off on buying a LCD Monitor. Still I probably won't be able to afford this until next year. RDX1
Nice monitor. Probably a $1000 price tag. I have the 2001FP, but that is one sweet monitor. Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/403932-dell-3007wfp/#findComment-586872527 Share on other sites

ACTIONpack
I'm thinking it's going to be about 1800 dollars. I just got a 24 inch Dell LCD and I hope it will cost that much so I know I did not make a big mistake. Got mine for $750. jagwire
I don't know what major differences they can do to the lower end models. Possibly more connections and compatability with vista. I have a 2005fpw and I paid a pretty dime for it, but I don't see how it could get better. I'm getting prepared to buy a HDTV. I can't understand 30 inches for a monitor, i've used 24 inches and it's rediculous in itself. If your buying a 30 inch monitor, you have to be able to afford to upgrade your video cards every few months as well. kaffra
most cards should be able to reach that resolution, but for gaming i wonder if even a 7800 series SLI is enough Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/403932-dell-3007wfp/#findComment-586873394 Share on other sites
mikeboy
whoa! thats friggin huge! I want it to be released, so the 2405fps pricetag is lowered Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/403932-dell-3007wfp/#findComment-586873401 Share on other sites
mrogers
Good...God.... You know, I'm so thankful that Dell has more or less led the push of high-quality, low-price LCDs. Before Dell started selling LCDs, everything was still far more expensive. My $900 Sony 18" LCD, and everything else, plummeted when Dell started selling its 1800fps back in the day. Now, Dell alone has 24"+ monitors for less than $1k, with quick reponse times and sleek looks to boot. jagwire
Kaffra, with 2x 7800 gtx you may be able to play modern games decently, but thoes cards will be outdated in seconds if your using a resolution as high as this monitors. Games that come out in 1 year or 6 months or whatever wouldn't be abel to get good fps on this monitor with 2x 7800 gtx. Maybe the 512 editions, can't say for myself though. mikeboy
god bless Dell.... About the resolution, I dont think we cpould play F.E.A.R on max settings at that size with 2 7800GTX Sli.... jagwire
Yeah mikeboy. This monitor is what I would recommend just for eye candy, designers, etc, but not gamers. I hope my 2005fpw doesn't get made a fool though :(. Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/403932-dell-3007wfp/#findComment-586873438 Share on other sites

You mean the 2405FP. You'd also need dual-link DVI support, which is only available on NVIDIA Quadro cards for example.
