NienorGT
Damn, I'm not sure if I'm happy to have come back to ATI... Always install drivers all months is worst as Windows updates... >_< Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/549691-ati-catalyst-73-release/#findComment-588432822 Share on other sites
xcopmanx
They're constant updates to make sure the latest cards are supported and bugs are fixes as well as some minor performance improvements, etc. I'd rather have monthly updates than none at all. heh. Always install drivers all months is worst as Windows updates... >_< So you envy NVIDIA users who beg the company to release new drivers every few months? Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/549691-ati-catalyst-73-release/#findComment-588432859 Share on other sites

digitalsoft
hmm, not think i'll try these though a little system restore before methinks, currently using vista drivers and working so much better than the 7.2 ones. User6060
Does this release not apply to Radeon Mobility Products?! It won't let me install because it says I'm already up to date but why then does it let me download the newest package... NienorGT
So you envy NVIDIA users who beg the company to release new drivers every few months? :rolleyes:Nah, just because I did an uptime of 50Days with my 7900GTO :rofl:Anyway, I'm not complaining about the numerous updates, I'm complaining because I always reinstall them but after though about it, maybe it was useless... Btw, I removed back to ATi because nVIDIA lost me. Notice also that I moved to nVIDIA last year because ATi drivers sucked, they got better but nVidia really sank with their new CP + Vista.... Well, any nVIDIA users understand me I think. This tread reminds me that I need to change my sig... D!rtySh@dy
Not me. Why ATI continue to fix bugs for Doom 3 ? :pinch: Who continue to play Doom 3 ? I would prefer have bugfixing for TDU, Virtua Tennis 3, etc....... Well, any nVIDIA users understand me I think. This tread reminds me that I need to change my sig... An update, specially for a fresh released OS like Vista, is never useless. I'll be more than happy to update every week if it'll fix the long standing list of issues we have :( I totally agree with you that NVIDIA drivers really suck now, so lets not ruin the joy of ATI cards owners :D Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/549691-ati-catalyst-73-release/#findComment-588432968 Share on other sites
