1Frothy
Thanks for the update. Have they fixed the UAC thing in Vista yet? No, updater at login still triggers UAC. That is totally insane. Uninstalled Edited January 25, 2008 by 1Frothy Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/615743-superantispyware-401112-beta-released/#findComment-589160536 Share on other sites

I really detest applications that are not complaint with Vista asking permission, if Kaspersky AV 7 can update without an annoying UAC prompt, then SAS 4 should too. I'm thinking of enabling it again, but I will need to allow so much stuff thats currently not even approved. I disabled it the day of install. Panacik
Thanks for the update.Have they fixed the UAC thing in Vista yet? No, updater at login still triggers UAC. That is totally insane. Uninstalled Yeah, i heard a few bad things about the software. oh come on how big of deal is it to click allow, I mean really. am I the only person on this planet that is not annoyed by UAC? Yes. From what i gather, most people who have it active, still get annoyed by it, but see it as a "security" feature that needs to remain on and would slate you for disabling it. However, i hate the thing as do many others.
