Ironman273
I still wish we could toggle it back in forth like we could before the upgrade. That allowed us to fix any "glitches" that would happen when text was copied in but would maintain most things like links and pictures and such. Steven P. Administrators Posted July 12, 2011 Author Administrators Share Posted July 12, 2011 I'm hearing reports that the bug is still there for certain browsers, I have yet to experience it using Firefox 5, but my suggestion is that if you come across it, simply switch back to the basic editor. Roger H. Veteran Posted July 13, 2011 Veteran Share Posted July 13, 2011 I switched back to the basic editor because i was having issues submitting stuff or editing. When i clicked edit the text box would be blank and i'd have to go out and come back in again and then do full edit. Fred Derf Veteran Posted July 13, 2011 Veteran Share Posted July 13, 2011 The basic editor is indeed safer. Those that have a compatible browser are now free to try the Rich Text Editor but, at the first sign of trouble, they should consider switching back to the basic editor.
