Some downtime later today (Friday 29 July)

Recommended Posts

please tell me you dropped all IE6 support

I just fired up XP Mode and had a look. The site is actually quite intact in IE6. Of course, there's a honking orange banner at the top urging IE6 users to upgrade to IE9 (no Firefox, Chrome, Opera? boo!).

On the other hand, the current IPB3 forums are a raging disaster in IE6.

I hope the downtime can be kept to a minimum.

Fractions of a second is the plan, and then allow a few minutes for the promo images on the front page to be re-created to the new dimensions, but that's about all that ought to be noticeable.

2/3 of the upgrade phases are actually done already, did you notice? Just waiting for all the devs to say they're happy with the code, and then it will go into a QA phase, and will be pushed out as soon as it passes that satisfactorily.

First! No wait, like a day late >.>

Congrats on nearing release :)

@ Neobond - Still going to be having problems with subscription emails going to junk mail?

I'm excited. Going to bed, so the presents get here sooner!!@!! It's like Christmas all over again :D
