Steven P. Administrators Posted July 30, 2011 Administrators Share Posted July 30, 2011 Neowin now uses a "cookieless" domain to load content such as images and CSS from static.neow.in and in *some* cases this change hasn't taken too quickly, for example in Firefox 6 a lot of the content was missing for me. To fix it I flushed my DNS (which forces an update) by opening a command prompt (as administrator on Windows) and typing ipconfig /flushdns and then hitting enter. So if you are seeing this problem, you can give that a try and it should fix it. Simon Veteran Posted July 30, 2011 Veteran Share Posted July 30, 2011 Same thing on OS X: open Terminal and type 'dscacheutil -flushcache' Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/1015942-neowin-content-may-not-appear-correctly-solution/#findComment-594203460 Share on other sites
Mystic Mungis
I've been having another problem, if I go to "view my content" there was barely anything in it but after doing this I could see everything up until a week or so ago. Not sure if it was doing this that caused it to somewhat fix itself or if it was partially fixed in the roll-out of Pegasus and all the site tweaking earlier.
