In one hand, you could say, bi-sexuals are greedy.

If this was a topic about women being bi-sexual then the majority would maybe agree it's in their nature.

I think that bi-sexual males is not mentioned that much as it's a taboo.

It has been written that a lot of men that are heterosexual, masturbate whilst thinking of doing it with a d00d.

Me I like the furry cup and will always.

Those men were gay long before they entered the marriage and had children.

That's just what sexuality PHD's would like you to believe.

You're beyond a joke lol

Homosexuality has been around since the beginning of humanity, and until christianity was an accepted normal. Just because your closed minded ideals dont accept that men can be together, doesnt mean that science and nature agree. It is a normal part of nature as well. If anythin, youre the abnormal one.

If not being so heterosexual is so unnatural, or as some seem to argue a "choice", then why does it also exist in other species? In particular bonobo chimpanzees, who are an even more sexualised ape than we are (humans are exceptional amongst virtually all species for how sexualised we are), are almost always bisexual as well as engaging in near constant sexual activity as part of their social congress (please don't take this as likening homosexuals or bisexuals to chimpanzees - what I am meaning is that variation in sexual preferences occurs throughout nature - I am basically likening ALL humans to the bonobo in this respect). I believe lions and numerous other species have also been observed engaging in homosexual behaviour. I tend to take the view that sexuality with regards to gender attraction, with individual people expressing differing degrees of attraction to either sex depending on how they're wired. In practice this would probably mean that everybody has some degree of attraction to both sexes, it's just that in men it tends to be weighted more heavily one way or the other, I believe in human females it's slightly less binary. Personally, I am heterosexual but I wouldn't say that I never notice on that level that a man is attractive - just that the degree of attraction I might experience in this case isn't anywhere near strong enough to motivate me to actually want any kind of sexual interaction, compared to the attraction I feel towards the opposite sex.

Regarding any statements people have made about "choice", even if it were the case that people "chose" their sexuality, can anyone actually justify this private matter being a problem?

The stupidity in this thread is amazing. It also highlights how stupid the ignore facility is on this forum. Its too irritating to get to the ignore list :(

Its nice though that bisexuals are recognised as being real now.

I consider myself bisexual. For as far back as I can remember I've been attracted to both sexes (not saying I was born this way, but I definitely didn't "choose"). I've dated girls for most of my life and only just this past year have I gotten in a serious relationship with a guy. Never raped, supportive non-abusive parents, never beaten, no mental disorders before or after I came out to some of my close friends and family.

Bisexuality exists. People may not "believe" in it, and that's completely fine. It just really annoys me when people say "oh no, you just don't want to accept the fact that you're gay" or "just go straight, dude." When they start pushing their religion on me to attempt to convince me to change, then I just get mad.

No matter what you just said in your post, there's always something about you that made you the way you are. You just can't see it because what you think is "normal" is probably "odd" to many people on this forum. I can't zero in on it from your post, but I'm sure anybody who meets you and interviews you about your life will figure out why you became that way. Heck, they might point out that you look gay to them, as is usually (but not always) the case.

No. All people are born heterosexual into this world. They are repulsed by homosexuality until they are forced into it by sexual abuse, develop a mental disorder, or suffer from a physiological disorder that secondarily affects their mind, chemically.

STILL, many many hours later, waiting for you to back that up with some scientific evidence.

Oh, that's right, there isn't any. Please stop presenting your own bigoted views as scientific fact, thanks.

Just to be clear, I was never abused, and don't suffer from a mental or physiological disorder.

Until Heterosexuals stop pushing their agenda on Homosexual people that will never happen.

Heterosexuals don't need to push anything on you. It is homosexuals who want gay history taught in schools, gay hate crimes bills which amount to special treatment, and equal marriage laws. Homophobia isn't rampant because we think gays shouldn't have sex in their bedrooms, homophobia is rampant because straight children have to sit through lectures from gay community members preaching gay awareness and promotion of things like "gay-straight alliances".

As much as you think these things are good, straight people don't appreciate these things creeping into their communities. Homosexuals should stick to the privacy of their own home, and there wouldn't be a problem.

You guys can't even prove that you were born gay or bisexual and you ask for "facts". How silly.

I'm sorry, are events in history that concern homosexuals somehow LESS important to be taught in schools than events that don't? All we're asking for is EQUAL treatment. I'd love for HISTORY to be taught in schools, and that include all aspects, and then it wouldn't need to be labelled as 'gay' history.

I fail to see how that's relevant? I made no claim one way or another on that point, because I personally don't know the answer, and don't think it can ever be known. I do however, believe it has NOTHING to do with mental disorders, and I'm asking you for some evidence of that claim you're pushing as a fact...

you should speak for yourself.I think gay awareness is needed and people should learn what tolerance means.Never have i heard of a group of gay people beating up a straight kid or even killing but it happens the other way around all the time...and by men who think exactly like you do..

Include all aspects of what? Should each gay historical figures be given a little added background in textbooks to denote that they are gay? Should a little bit of time be spent on some background of their homosexual affairs? If they are not mentioned as being gay, will you continue to plead for equality despite them being noted for their acheivements?

Mentioning the gay aspects of historical figures doesn't affect the history of what actually happened. The goal of such a reform in schools is simply to promote homosexuality to children as being acceptable and normal...or dare I say heroic.

Until homosexuals can prove that they are born that way, all possibilities must be put on the table as being potentially valid...yet somehow the only option that is considered valid is the "born that way" theory. Every pro-gay person in this thread accepts that theory as fact, despite there being no solid evidence to show they are actually born that way.

Interesting how political correctness can magically limit the scope of discussion, eh?

thats your view, a very narrow minded one. there is no solid proof that the long term goal is to do what you have stated. if you have a problem with this then move to a country or state that does not accept such teachings.

I'm trying very hard to consider your theory, yet you're refusing to give me anything with which to do so, aside from your own opinion on the matter.

Should a little bit of time be spent on some background of their homosexual affairs?

If relevant to the events, yes, otherwise, let their private life remain their private life, there's no need to bring it into the discussion just because they're gay.

Few people, even very ardent homophobes, actually want to go out and beat up a homosexual. Usually it's some drunk jock who ends up being gay after all or some inbred losers with bad home-lives. Violence towards minority groups is caused by social issues in the family that occurred before any such beatings, not as a direct result of homophobia.

Heck, few people are as intolerant to homosexuals as I am, but I continue to befriend them, without mentioning my true opinions to them, of course.

exactly ;)

the only natural thing is what nature intended... male/female and that's it.

Nature hasn't intended anything as it lacks consciousness. And anything that occurs naturally in nature is natural (apologies for tautology).

Doesn't apply because I didn't claim to know what I was like since birth. Homosexuals on the other hand, claim to have a perfect memory of things from the moment they breached their mother's womb, it seems.

Oh really?

I never chose. I was born this way. Can't say the same for homosexuals though.

You just said you were born this way, but above you claim to "not know what you were like since birth".

So which is it? You're either the biggest liar on the planet... or the biggest liar on the planet.

You guys can't even prove that you were born gay or bisexual and you ask for "facts". How silly.

Read my 2 above replies. You can't prove you were born Straight. How silly.

well ask all the *gay people* why they have to defend there sexuality well the rest of us don't

I could not give you a answer to that. Wrong person to ask.

BTW did you know when a male dog has sex with another male dog (wolves, dogs ect) its not about sex at all. its about dominance.

I doubt gay people feel the need to be dominate.

It's people like you, who keep telling them that they're abberations and should go hide in a closet that make gay people so defensive.

And you know what happens to people like you? You come out of the closet and open up about your homosexuality.
