like I said, its marked as legacy and obsolete, although they need to keep the Win+R key but still take it to something that lets you type in command line esc commands like run did... but with the start menu removed now, how do you do that without going into command prompt

if neufuse is talking about launching processes like msconfig.exe, msinfo32.exe or services.msc, you can still do that from the Start screen (or the Search charm). go to the Start screen and just start typing then hit enter. you can also open network shares.

I believe all the run commands from Windows 7's Start menu still work in Windows 8's Start screen.

one issue i see tho is that you have things duplicated taskbar on both screens could you change it up different icons and behaviors and such just for the sake of showing how much customizing ya can now do by default in windows 8 and multi-monitors

How do you add titles, like Social, News, etc, and group your icons under it like that? Not seeing that option.

In the lower right hand corner, you'll notice a minus sign [-]. Click it and you'll zoom out. Right click on any group and below you'll see the option to rename the selected group. Enjoy!
