Although I would be skeptical, the number of people who attended the BUILD conference is quite large and being that the seller is from California makes it more likely he actually does own one. So if I were willing to pay that much for an unreleased product, then I wouldn't really worry considering eBay is pretty good with buyer protection. Looking at the specs just a few months later I was glad I didn't shell out to get one. This too shall pass and there will be better hardware to support windows just around the corner. Of course, since I have an MS BUILD Tablet that's easy for me to say...
