Steven P. Administrators Posted September 30, 2011 Administrators Share Posted September 30, 2011 We understand that after a good ten years of registrations, common member names are getting more and more difficult to register because of the likelihood it's already taken. ACTIVE members new and old may check against their desired membername by doing a search, if it is a zero poster and inactive for a good portion of time, you can PM request me to take that name. We will not assign well known names that have since left the site to members, so forget about requesting a membername with a ton of posts who's currently no longer active. We'll do our best to accomadate where applicable, but this option is only open to member account names with zero posts and inactive (not lurking). +Kyle 1 Share Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/1029190-user-name-restrictions-and-old-inactive-names-in-use/ Share on other sites
