Menus not appearing on Google Chrome & Windows 7 since the upgrade.

I also have this problem. All the menu and the user tab appear for a split second and then vanish. I am using chrome 15 beta.

Updated to dev version 16 and it is working fine now. But the problem definitely was there in beta version 15.

i tried disabling all the addons yesterday and i still have the issue. I does look like i am the only 1 with this problem so it must be an issue on that PC, but no idea where and i don't want to reinstall windows.

Reinstalling Windows just for this? That's absurd!!

As often as Chrome gets updated, at least wait until the next version comes out.

I myself have been re-installing chrome for another problem(of chrome not neowin) and currently am using stable version. But, as far as I remember, that was the version number.

I have installed the dev version 16.0.899.0 dev-m of Chrome and this has finally fixed my problem! :)

Another thing I noticed, the "Welcome" text on Neowin main looked terrible in Chrome, but since a few updates it now looks OK, yet we haven't changed anything :s

Seems different versions appear to render stuff differently, and that's a nightmare for us to fix something that isn't actually broke, but is in one or two beta or dev versions (or even a stable version) of Chrome.

Another thing i have noticed and this applies to Chrome and Firefox here on this computer is that the scroll lag fix doesn't work on the forums making it choppy to scroll down the forums, but on the main page it is silky smooth, is this a known issue? Or is it my crappy Amd 64 3200 2gb ram pc the cause? :)

Well the latest dev update of Chrome (16.0.904.0 dev-m) seems to make all the fonts in the drop down menus all blocky, it is strange this site is affected by Google Chrome so much but other sites always seem normal from what i have so far seen, although i have just noticed a few plugin buttons looking the same as Neowins menus, so something is broken in Chrome which is expected seeing it is the Dev version. :)
