Is anyone else a fan of the M-76 Revenant? I used to shred my enemies apart with it in Mass Effect 2. I can't wait to get it in Mass Effect 3. Armour-piercing ammo coupled with a machine gun results in massive devastation. For now, I'm using a fully upgraded M-15 Vindicator.

I bought it digitally from Amazon because I wanted to avoid Origin, and after I downloaded the game, I needed an Origin account to play!!!!

On my ME2 save, I Grunt was killed, so I am curious how it effects ME3. I played 'dead is dead' and never understood why people played over and over again the get the 'perfect' game in ME2. Isn't the point of decisions effecting the game, is so that they actually effect the game?

Got my review copy today.

Should have got it earlier so I could bring you a review before release but meh, so I'll have a review up soon on the front page.

Meanwhile, enjoy playing it for those of you outside the EU who have got it already

Looking forward to it.

Just want to quickly tell everyone here, specially those who have got their game and playing it.

Please, hid any kind of information on gameplay, story or anything related to the game in spoiler tags.

I haven't got it, not until next day, and some others haven't too, but please, to those who have got it, please make sure to keep anything related to gameplay, story or any kind of thing that would spoil it for us, in the spoiler tags.

We'll appreciate that. Thanks

And I hope, Anaron and DirtyLarry look into this and keep this safe for browsing, i.e. spoiler free

Meh, Australia Post seem to have lost my copy :/ EB Games say it was shipped, Australia Post claims it doesn't exist (been 3 days now)....maybe it still shows up but is looking doubtful. All I can say is thank god I paid for delivery insurance....

I was able to import my save's info on pc, but my Shep's face didn't make it over. :( It's like a stranger is staring at me!

I've heard about that bug. I had an idea to how to get around it, it's not the easiest way but maybe try importing the Shepard you want to import into ME2 (or just starting a new game with him/her) and then from the character customisation screen copy the unique code for your character's face and past it into the ME3 one to get your character's exact face back? I have no idea if it'll even work and I haven't got the game so can't test it. Just an idea.

You guys are so lucky to of gotten the game, all sold out here in Au now and mine is lost  god I hate Australia Post....that will teach me for pre-ordering it :(

I'm really scared now after reading the metacritic user reviews. I know everyone keeps saying that they are trolls but the same thing happened with dragon age 2, and I actually had the limited edition of dragon age 2 ordered and stopped playing in the middle of the game because it was a waste of time. And mind you, I have always been a huge fan of bioware since the old times, having played all the games created by them or black isle.

I hope that me3 won't have the same ending, considered that I'm playing me2 again right now before I start me3.

The game has been released in some parts of the world. Which means we are free to talk about it. If you don't have it yet, due to location or other circumstances, it is your responsibility to not come into this thread.

I didn't have any issue when importing a character; mostly because I knew about this flaw in their save file paradigm a long time ago. There is a hidden system file that gets created and updated whenever you beat any Mass Effect game. That file is the one that ME2 and ME3 use to see if you have an importable character. If you move just your save file to a flash drive or the cloud without that hidden file, it's useless for importing.

Anyways, I don't know i this is working as intended, but when I imported my Shepard from ME2, I was level 30 in the game but I didn't have "1 point spent with another 59 to allocate myself" like a lot of guides are saying. All of the abilities that I chose from ME2 were automatically leveled to what they were in ME2, and I only had a handful of extra points to use. That was incredibly annoying. Did anyone else experience that?

I fixed it by loaded my last save in ME2, using the research option to reset my points and then saving again without spending anything. Then when I started a new ME3 and imported the same Shepard, I had all my points to spend again. I hope that was a glitch and not working as intended. What an obnoxious thing for Bioware to do.

So what you're saying is that you're happy to ruin all our games with spoilers, instead of taking about 2 seconds to wrap them in spoiler tags, just because you're lucky enough to already have the game? This isn't a thread for people who have the game, it's a thread for everyone who wants to discuss the game, and I think (as I said before) that spoiler tags are a perfectly reasonable request, just as they are in the movie threads.

I'm not ruining anything. And neither is anyone else who posts in this thread. If you come into this thread after the game has been released (whether globally or not) you enter at your own risk.

By your logic, we should always post everything in spoiler tags no matter what until everyone on this forum has played the entire game, which will never happen. Then we just end up with pages and pages of spoiler-tagged text. Is that better?

It's also a reasonable request to say that if you don't want to have anything spoiled, then don't come into the thread. It's much simpler for those without the game to avoid the thread, than it is for everyone who wants to talk about it to use spoiler tags.

But I guess it's a philosophical difference in opinion about what spoiler tags should be used for. So, I'm going to just call it a stalemate and be done with it.

+1 UK doesn;t get it till the 9th and I'd hate to learn anything becasue someone can;t be bothered to wrap in spoiler tags...

I can't get my ME2 save on my 360 to import =( Doesn't even detect it...

do you have multiple storage options?...I.E. HDD, MU and Cloud...I'd recommend having it on the HDD ...or just copy it to all 2/3 hopefully it'll pick one of them up.

No it's your responsibility to wrap it in spoiler tags... that's what they're there for...takes 3 secs to do spoiler tags and not ruin it for the rest of us...this is an open forum we should be able to go into whatever threads we like and not worry about spoilers when there are spoiler tags there for you to use.

Nah, I'm a fan of Collectors Assault Rifle. Well, ok, mostly I love its distinct "whine" sound.

Does it exist in Mass Effect 3, too?

I used that gun for a very short while in Mass Effect 2. I didn't like it because it's organic. It should be in Mass Effect 3. Actually, every weapon from ME2 is in ME3 (including DLC weapons).

For those that are playing or completed playing the game do you guys have a FULL potential squad list? I know its not going to be as big as ME2 which is a shame but I get the feeling for some reason that many characters that were key to the team in ME2 will be overlooked completely and the game will not say what happened.

Then again Bioware might release DLC to "add" them in and give them a back story in ME3... who knows but please do tell :) Use spoiler tags if for those who have not got it yet... I still have not got it, says shipped even though its not going to be out till the 9th here..

it's seriously that hard to use a spoiler tag eh?

and i thought i was the resident dbag around here...

I'm not spoiling anything (especially since I did a speed run of the game) but

I have never been this disappointed with an ending to a game as I was with ME3. Never.

Now, I need more coffee.

wow, atta boy. done already.

that's because they are. They just bitch about the DLC and same-sex options. I've been playing it for a good amount of hours and it is amazing, and the levels load surprisingly fast on PC. The lightning and artistic direction, along with the sounds, are out of this world. And there is gun customization and more levels to develop the classes too.

As a huge fan of the previous games, I can confidently say that Mass Effect 3 is an amazing game. I like to think of it as a greatly improved version of Mass Effect 2 with a bit of Mass Effect. The level design is much better this time around and the load times, as you mentioned, are extremely fast. I also like the ability to get to certain places without walking there. For example, you can get to certain areas in the Citadel as soon as you dock. In previous Mass Effect games, you had to enter the Citadel at the docking area and walk to wherever you wanted to go.
