Could you use Gibbed's ME2 editor to export the head (headmorph) and then import it back, then save the file and then import it into ME3?

If you have no idea what I'm talking about, throw me the ME2 save file and we can see if it works.

Had a quick scan through the thread but saying as it started 42 pages ago I`ll post this anyway

Looks like a way to tweak the game how you want it

Tutorial

Tool

I was wanting to find the settings to bump up the graphics and see if there are any higher hidden settings we can change, anyone know where in Coalesced.bin would be the place to max things out graphics wise ?

Thanks for the positive feedback on the DLC Celestial, good to know it's well worth it. When does it integrate with the game tho?

It is integrated as soon as you can fly freely when you got your ship (After Mars I believe), you won't be able to use him until after the Turian General mission, however the dialogues are unlocked.

Gibbed's made a prerelease build of ME3 Save Editor available: http://svn.gib.me/builds/masseffect3/

Now I can finally once again look like an evil robot, too :woot:

How did you make her eyes look like that? In Mass Effect 2, I edited my coalesced file to keep the red renegade eyes after I healed my Shepard's skin. Your Shepard's eyes look like the Illusive Man's eyes. I'm guessing you either changed the colour from red to blue or you're somehow using the Illusive Man's blue eyes.

She looks rather unhappy, also I think she needs to take a shower - hair looks dirty :>

Blame it on the Alliance "retrofitters". They did install a rather fancy "iShit" in the Captain's Cabin, but shower? Totally f- slipped their minds. How's one supposed to be happy in those circumstances?

That.

1. Open a save, using Save Editor

2. Navigate to Raw > Squad > Player > Appearance > Morph Head > Texture Parameters

3. Add two new entries as follows:

Name: EYE_Diff

Value: BIOG_HMM_HED_PROMorph.IllusiveMan.HMM_HED_PROIllusiveman_Eye_Diff

and

Name: EYE_Spec

Value: BIOG_HMM_HED_PROMorph.IllusiveMan.HMM_HED_PROIllusiveman_Eye_Spec

To change color of these specific eyes:

1. Navigate to Raw > Squad > Player > Appearance > Morph Head > Texture Parameters

2. Rename EYE_Iris_Colour_Vector to Emis_Color

3. Put in RGB values you'd like.

In ME2, however, it also changes armor light emissions. Not a big deal.

In ME3 new eye effects (Cipher "vision") and sometimes usual eyes still overlay.

I've also changed EYE_White_Colour_Vector to completely black, even though originally TIM does have white eyeballs.

Nuh-uh Cralias, you get a shower scene in the game with that special someone! ;D

I haven't got that far, with all the premature modding and stuffs. Besides, Liara's my Shepard's special someone. I hope they don't rob me of an "embrace Eternity" scene in that case, like they did in ME2 :o

The Prothean DLC is worth it imo, quite a bit of interesting background and dialogue. I have the CE, so I got it for free :)

I have to disagree with you there. I bought the DLC based on peoples recommendations and a desire to have the full story, and I've been disappointed so far. (DLC spoiler follows, readable if you don't care about the DLC)

The Prothean dude isn't particularly interesting, and by his own admission basically knows nothing about his own race. He's also a dick.

. The best thing you get out of the DLC is some laser assault rifle that I've stopped using because it's so powerful it's basically cheating. The mission is mediocre compared to rest of the ones in the game (that I've played so far). Unless there's something massively game changing built into the DLC that I haven't found yet, ?6/$10 gets you about 40 minutes of gameplay, and some semi-entertaining dialogue. If you want

the Prothean as a teammate

, and you've got the PC version, you might as well just do the file hack and be done with it.

Frankly I feel like I should have just stuck with my gut feeling and not bothered with the DLC, it was a waste of my money (IMO).

Still better than the half-assed ending we've got from the main game

Well, I finished the campaign.

From the beginning all the way up to the final charge of the Hammer teams, it was awesome. The side-stories and character moments where great. Even the co-op was/is great fun. I had a lot of fun playing the game...until I watched the ending.

It was terrible. It was so bad, it forever tarnished the Mass Effect series in my eyes. ME1 was my favorite game of all time. The Mass Effect universe was my favorite fictional universe. I played all the games and read all the books. Even after playing the first 2 games more than a dozen times, I still loved reading all the codec entries and exploring every dialogue option of every conversation. It was, without a doubt, my favorite story of any movie, novel, or game. Yet the last 15 minutes of Mass Effect 3 has completely destroyed any love I had for the series, and I will never be able to enjoy ME1 or ME2 again.

All three endings felt more like a kick in the teeth than an acceptable reward for finishing the trilogy. No questions were answered, no decisions made any consequence (save for the very last one), and there was no closure for ANY of the characters. All of the endings were so cryptic and unsubstantial it literally left me hot with anger. It was a complete failure of an ending from every perspective a RPG could have. I can't believe this is the best Bioware could come up with.

I'm not asking for a cliche action movie ending where the good guys win, and every one of the main characters live on. I don't even need Shepard to live for it to be a good ending (even though he does live through the Renegade ending). But something, ANYTHING other than the abstract, nebulous ending that we got would have been infinitely better.

There are so many things I dislike about the ending. So many questions left unanswered. I just can't believe we waited all this time to see how the story ended, and we just get that slop thrown at us.

I am utterly and completely disappointed.

I kind of enjoyed

watching the downfall of their race. I know it wasn't a whole lot but enough for me.

Thanks a lot Celestial, but I can't find any indication the DLC has been incorporated in the game yet.

And Cralias, I don't mind the captains cabin so much, what really annoys me are the tiny crew quarters. How do you expect people to fight well if they live like that?

What do you mean by incorporated in the game? I think people were upset that it was already in the game, lol. (Except for the Guns, cut scenes, etc.. as stated by IGN in their Daily Fix)

And you are most welcome :) I thought From Ashes DLC was a nice touch even though it was part of the CE I got, so others might not agree :)

he's probably not as knowledgeable as us about the hardware and is going by the model numbers only ;)

like i mentioned earlier

Thanks! You are indeed correct...once i did my research and got 5850(few years ago) i wast too interested in graphics hardware except for the top models, which one sees in the news feed.

I am not saying that it was worth the asking money, but still, the new Prothean is awesome, in my opinion. And that Rifle is awful, because of its low damage output. Goes from 100 to about 70 something to kill one Husk which isn't really good though.

And those memories of him. They were awesome, hands down (Y)

I thought the Particle Rifle was really weak at first. I didn't upgrade it so I attributed the low damage output to a lack of upgrades. And I've yet to try it again because it's quite buggy. If you let it overheat, the cool-down period doesn't restore the weapon's power. Also, the extra capacity is a must because the power drains a little too quickly (at 100). I was really disappointed with the M-76 Revenant. It was my favourite weapon in Mass Effect 2 because of the ammo capacity and damage output. In Mass Effect 3, it's pretty weak and it has way too much recoil. In comparison, I think the Phaeston is a better weapon.

Celestial: imean I didn't get like a call from Hackett telling me go to this planet to meet that guy, you know, the usual ME schtick. It doesn't seem like the game knows I paid for the DLC, or a. I supposed to run into this guy randomly?
