Ive been following them for the past few seasons closely, and its great that they are now in the playoffs. I hate to say it Oligarthy, but your pitching isnt very good. Ortiz has a ton of wins, but its only because your offense is insane. With that said, your high ERA is going to be our strong point because our pitching will be able to contain your offense enough to the point where we can get enough runs to win. At least thats my opinion. Good luck to you guys tho. I want a Red Sox v. Cubs World Series more than anything.. I really like the Cubs pitching, but I don't think they have enough offense to beat Atlanta's great pitching staff too. Erm.ya ok..try 2 pitchers first off....Lowe and Pedro(as well an argument could be made for Wakefield). Secondly the Twins are a team made specifically to beat the Yankees.Defense and hot pitching go to the series. Hottest team since the break has been the Twins , thanks mostly to an above average bullpen. As for the NL the Cubs are everyones dark horse and they're scary cause they're 3 pitchers deep ,and their hitters are seein' the ball as well as anyone right now. Sentimentality dictates a Cubs/Red Sox series. Logic screams yanks /Giants series because and ONLY because they've been there before. But we all know that nothing ever goes as scripted(witness last years heavenly Angels),so imma sit back and see who the diamond gods bestow their favor upon this 2003,should be fun! Greg Maddux, Roger Clemens, and Mark Prior are all starting game 3 for their teams as well.. are you gonna try and tell me they arent good pitchers either? in a 5 game series, game 3 is crucial, and more and more teams are catching on.
