Once you have installed conky(for linux), you can go online and download a .conkyrc file or package. This file is what changes the appearance of conky on your desktop. The particular conkyrc package I am using is called conky_orange. Sorry if this is more/less than you were asking for. I wasn't sure how familiar you were with Linux.
