T-Shirt would be neat. I worked long and hard to get my bug reports in. A shirt saying "I survided MS Office" would be quite touching ;)

On 2000 SP4 I was tester of the week and got a really neat 'self raising' calculator. A nice surprise as I didn't realsie they gave out gifts for betas...

Seems to be expected by some people, perhaps you were on the beta for all the wrong reasons if you do. :no:

As the mail said:

*Gifts for Technical Beta Testers*

- We appreciate all you have done to help us test our products.  Gifts will be shipping to you by October.

If a free copy of MSO03 should land on my door mat, or Outlook 2003, well, I doubt I'd complain ;) :D

Tehe, neat

Something tells me it didn't say "Office XP is a rather pointless update to Office 2000" :p :laugh: ;)

Not a fan of Office XP, it was all rather gimicky. Office 2000 was the most comprehencive suite. With more individual programs in it.

It's all good ;)

When I beta tested for CorelDRAW, they gave me the full retail software, a T-shirt, AND a pen. They was very nice of them to do that.

P.S. The Microsoft Office team got USB keychains as their Ship-It awards. :) Hey, they created the software, they deserved it!

I reckon what's really funny is people thinking that they're going to get something cheap / nasty.

Not sure about the:

beta 2 -> |gold/RTM| beta testers but

beta 1 -> |gold/RTM| will receive the full boxed pro version of Office 2003.
