If I try to run the basic hl2.exe, it just crashes... works fine to run the hl1 port. Doesn't matter much though... got tired of the hl2 maps with too much stuff missing. False, a source leak of a third of the code could present serious security and authentication problems. Crackers will have inside info on how servers work, it'll make their job easier than decompiling it themselves. Even if game companies know themselves that it's nearly impossible to stop crackers from modifying or bypassing things in a game, they have to assure their publisher that they've at least done all they can do to prevent it. Not changing the code after a leak of that magnitute would be irresponsible. Must be a pixel shader type thingymabob driver problem with my card.
