temple_treefrog
Hi Guys, I have owned an iPad (first gen), iPad 2 Wi-Fi and last week upgraded to an iPad (third gen). I have noticed the latest iPad becomes hot after 30 minutes of use. It's noticeably hotter than room temperature and I would guess the unit to be warmer than 40'C. This occurs without the charger being used, with brightness on typical/medium settings. Anyone else noticed this? 44MLX
Yes, I bought the new iPad aswell. It does get hot at the back lower parts, I usually leave it down for a few minutes for it to cool down. But I suspect it may be the battery. winlonghorn
Could it be just the 4G model? Mine is staying quite cool so far. Here is hoping it stays that way.
