Dev Channel Update

The Dev channel has been updated to 20.0.1096.1 for Windows, Mac, Linux and Chrome Frame. This build contains following updates:

  • Updated V8 - 3.10.0.5
  • file: downloads allowed again.
  • Enable the Chrome To Mobile page action for users with compatible registered devices [r130312]
  • Fixed issues 120430, 118960, 120978, 118715

  • Fixed a crash in the Cloud Print connector when connecting via Remote Desktop (Issue: 122996)
  • Fixed incorrect program icon being shown in the task switcher. (Issue: 118368)
  • Fixed downloads page drag/drop. (Issue: 122946)

Known Issues

  • [Mac 10.6] Video isn?t displayed when entered into presentation mode (pressing cmd + shift + f) (Issue: 123911)

New Chromium gets some visual improvements and enhancements..

Like new icons in toolbar... rather than curvy tabs now tabs are kind of sliced and also bigger button for opening New Tab.

Has anyone experienced driver crashes with dev builds of Chrome on an Optimus laptop? (or the first gen Intel Core i chips with integrated graphics)

The Dev channel has been updated to 20.0.1123.1 for Windows, Mac, and Chrome Frame. Linux will be updated tomorrow. This build contains following updates:

  • Updated V8 - 3.10.6.0
  • Fixed about:inducebrowsercrashforrealz (Issue: 124843)
  • [Windows] Visual refinements to the tab strip and toolbar icons, including a slightly wider new tab button (the ?baby tab?) that is easier to click.
  • [Known Issues] Mouse over on apps/extensions makes place holder blank in web store. (Issue: 125777)
