+Frank B. Subscriber² Posted April 24, 2012 Subscriber² Share Posted April 24, 2012 I can't find any announcement or blog post pertaining to it (yet). Nevertheless, Microsoft Security Essentials 4.0 final is available via Windows Update. It doesn't look like it has changed much UI-wise. Much to my surprise the update from MSE 2.x to 4.0 did not require a reboot. veternan and Dot Matrix 2 Share Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/1072601-microsoft-security-essentials-40-final-on-windows-update/ Share on other sites

protocol7
How is this on XP these days? I remember it used to be a bit of a hog. Have Avast on my bootcamp partition but I could replace it with this if it's improved.
