demon_speed
Hello! I've downloaded the new version of realtek's high def drivers yesterday and I noticed that there where extremely low audio with them.. What i've read is what's new in this version is that it supports Windows 8, but what can the possible low audio processing be in the new version? Anyhow, I switched back to R2.68 again and it's crystal clear and loud again! Anyone that tried/know anything about this issue please report :)! 0 FlintyV
Sorry you threw me off as you mentioned Windows 8 in your post. I've installed the drivers on Win7 and have also noticed I need volume at around 50% with the new drivers when I previously only needed it around 25% for the same kind of volume. I'm not sure how to resolve apart from rolling back.
