Anyway, here: 1. Why did the write speed change? 2. One thing you could try is to see if it happens on the first burn AFTER a fresh reboot. This could tell you whether it's a hardware issue or an OS issue in regards to the running software in the computer etc etc etc... Here: Start > Programs > Accessories > System Tools > System Information > Tools > System Configuration Utility > Startup Tab... then disable everything. Press OK, and restart. It still comes up...
