It's not only the task manager you can do this with, BTW. It's any desktop app that's registered with UIAccess permission. You can see it with for example inspect.exe from the Windows SDK. This obscure feature is supposed to be only for "accessibility" apps and testing tools but I could see enthusiasts potentially using it for some interesting hacks (like alternative input tools)
