soniqstylz
http://www.playstati...or-bridgestone/ Kevin Butler, the persona behind one of PlayStation?s rare successful advertising campaigns, has jumped ship and is advertising the Nintendo Wii. After being absent from PlayStation ads all year, we knew it was likely the Kevin Butler ads had probably come to an end, but to see the VP of Everything playing on the Wii is all the more painful. Jerry Lambert, the actor behind KB, started working for Bridgestone last February, but this ad marks the first time he has shown his love for another gaming platform holder. Video is at the link. UKDarkJedi
Took me a minute to realise this wasn't a joke. Wow has he gone down in life from being the only funny thing Sony have ever produced (not directly game related) to being a bit player in a boring Ninty ad, sad times. DirtyLarry Veteran Posted September 6, 2012 Veteran Share Posted September 6, 2012 How Sony could let this guy go is crazy to me, although as already pointed out, not really a Wii add, just a Bridgestone / Wii Cross Promotion ad. But seriously, Sony should have signed him for at the very least the duration of the life cycle of the PS3. Sure, his ads would have eventually gotten played out, but he was not really at that point yet, and they could of at the very least just used still images of him for marketing, etc. Although actually, I do think they do that, as I recall seeing a Kevin Butler sackboy for LBP Vita.
