netsurfer802
I've installed Acronis Snap Deployment Console Version 3...and every time I try to logon I'm not able to put the right login information....I'm not even aware of a domain. Would I need to create a domain first? If so how? I've attached a file that shows what I get. Also, is there some easy documentation on how to set up a PXE Server or have one computer connect to an image over a network to an image with another computer? netsurfer802
Ok, so I've figured out I don't run into the above problem after installing the SNAP program to Windows 2008 Server...but I still don't know how to configure AND use the PXE Server part...please advise... +BudMan MVC Posted November 21, 2012 MVC Share Posted November 21, 2012 And are you trying to install the Acronis PXE server from section 3.7 page 29 of the Snap Deployment version 3 UG? http://download.acro...erver_ug.en.pdf So is step 3 in the process where your having an issue? 3.7.1 Installation of Acronis PXE Server To install Acronis PXE Server: 1. Run the Acronis Snap Deploy setup program 2. Click Install Acronis PXE Server 3. Follow the on screen Install Wizard instructions. Why are you trying to install 3, when 4 has been out over a year has it not? I would suggest you call them if you are having issues using their product in your environment if you just want some basic info about PXE and then from there links to more info - I would prob start here http://en.wikipedia....ion_Environment Here is a walk thru on how to setup a generic pxe boot server http://pxe.dev.aboveaverageurl.com/index.php/PXE_Booting
