edit: i'm can use my right hand reasonably well for the mouse, because at school they're always on that side so i've had good practice.

As is the case with lift. Fellow lefty here, but I grew up on my logitech trackman trackball mouse, you have to be righthanded for pretty much all trackballs. I can't even mouse with my left hand any more, It's just used for writing, scissors, drawing, painting, etc. Still play bass right-y style..

I aint usually messy honest, I do tidy the deskspace least once a week, but it only seems to take a day to get messy again

Are you a man who appreciates a good wine? I was holding off taking a photo of my place due to all the empty Rioja and Chardonnay bottles :p

Yeah?  I know I was in the middle of building an SLi box and all but I was at the apple store and just couldn?t hold out any longer, they got me. The specs are a dual 2.0 with 1.5 gigs of ram (soon to be an even 2)? a 9600 (in a month or so x800) and a 250 and 80 giger with Bluetooth airport and all that stuff.

FUGLY monitor.

oh man seeing all the slick desks and clean set ups makes me want a new one. i've had this desk since my first PC! lol it was around since my 486, pentium 2 celeron, amd athlon k7 socket A, amd athlon xp, finally p4 prescott. any nice desks to recommend? i know the ikea jerker is nice.

LCD Picture Frame I made out of an old laptop. Took it all apart, built a cheap wood frame, attached the system board to a piece of 1/8" plywood for the backing, 1/8" acrylic for the glass, and mounted to hacked LCD in a piece of foamboard. Turned out OK for what I use it for (just scrolls through pictures like a screensaver). It's actually a functioning laptop but I just use it like a picture frame.
