I just got my 4 megapixel Nikon camera today, so I've been taking pictures like mad :). Left monitor=Viewsonic E220, supports 2000+ resolution, weights 60+ lbs. Using Yamaha bookshelves speaker with a JVC receiver. Probably pushing around 100 watts each, then I have that Altec system pushing around 95 watts total. Also using Saint Dark's awesome "Lacrimology" wallpaper. I took the picture right after my friend left; we were playing mostly Half-Life mods on the lan.

Ok here's ma new one. Desk coming soon! :)

looks nic en pretty :) I like it.

doubt ide ever get a mac tho, you pay for that prettyness, a lot.

does it pack much punch, say compared to an dual opteron system of similar specs ?

Yea, you could say you pay for prettyness, but you can't really argue with the quality of the hardware...

The G5 is heavyiest computer I've ever seen (ok felt). I couldn't say as far as comparisons go, I've not ever used a PC over 2GHz... Certainly not a new 64Bit AMD system... I'm sure you could look for benchmarks. Personally I wouldn't care if it performed better, OS X alone is too big to miss IMO. This system really has NO problem rendering all that Aqua goodness, as far as I am concerned it FLIES... Besides chucking some more RAM in, I couldn't ask for more! :)

I still say it looks like an oversized cheese grater. :D

LOL, i think it does look nice, but it wont look so nice inside after a years use, all the dust it will drag in , there needs to be a filter on hte other side of the cheese gratery bit

Nice, but horrible speaker setups... you should spread them out! ;)

I would if I could. I just need to find a desk first...

how is your bed and your stereo part of your workstation?

The pictures were already uploaded and that is my workstation since it's all in the same room.
