Server is back up, should be alot faster.

I don't plan on adding maps for nether and the_end since you can't see anything on them.

A lot of people got their cattle killed. Including me. Timan, the fact that you can't see anything in the end is a problem.:D There is no bedrock ceiling in the end as far as i know.

Can I offer some advice about your survival map? I noticed on the map that someone or some players have traveled a huge distance and haven't settled, on my server I managed to reduce my backup size from around 2GB to 700MB by cutting out huge chunk areas that were generated but never built on, but the advice I want to give is that maybe you should set a world border and expand it when more and more of an area gets used up.

I am seriously considering building my replacement enchanting room in an area surrounded by doors on each side and trap doors above and below to prevent people from stealing my room again. (because you can lock doors)

It wouldn't matter, as currently, locked doors can be opened with a redstone torch.

That's what hidden piston doors are for.

What we really need is a way to keep people off of others property if they choose, i built a long way from spawn but still have people that manage to find me and break in to steal things, its to the point now where i am thinking about moving way out where no one will ever find me but taking all my stuff with me is going to be a pain if i do.

There was damage done to a lot of areas when the live map was offline so its not a matter of just pushing it off as the cause.

if the[font=Consolas, Liberation Mono, Courier, monospace][color=#333333][size=3] '[/size][/color][/font]dynmap.hide.self' permission has been granted. I am not sure if it has on Neowin's server but you can try the command to see.

Anyone have any good idea's on how to slow down a minecart?

Basically building a branch line off the main subway lines to my base.. can't get the cart to slow down enough to hit the button to change the track..
