If you unload the chunks the redstone is in at a given moment it could mess up the redstone and stop the clock from working (or maybe if the server lags, I don't really know). Usually just means moving the items in the hoppers to fix it.

So any design that removes as much redstone as possible is beneficial.

I was designing an iron farm without any redstone....I ran into some problems during the build. I was trying to go for more farms in a smaller area... but there isn't one area you can stand to keep all the farms active. It's kinda like a multi person afk iron farm. I've stopped work on it at the moment. It's behind my house in the sierra plains next to the mesa.

It's an interesting design I guess.

Wasn't the red stone that was stuck. The hoppers would only direct the output to the one chest. I managed to fix it for the time being

Seen it happen with my chicken farm..

Would quit the game, come back and the redstone had froze. Put some switches in to be able to restart the system.

I think I've been to the chicken farm once, but don't remember the "/" command to warp back there, it's been quite a few months.

Me either i tried to think of something when i posted but couldn't

how about: "Got wood? No? In Russia, wood has you!"

Warping back to where you came from: /back

Warping to your home location: /home

Fairly straightforward actually.

I already knew that, lol...i was talking about the chicken farm. When I first started out on the neocraftia server, someone gave me a tour, and took me to the chicken farm. I haven't been able to find it since. That's what I meant. ;)

just realized that the launcher has a profile editor now.  Nevermind they removed the version editor tab...or combined them. I dunno.

Anyway, the situation at my iron farm wasn't nearly as bad as I made it out to be.  Golems seem to be spawning fine.  I may finish it some day.
