Most forums have it so I think neowin should too Liked the site so far though! :) PS unsure where to post this... Supervisor Posted December 26, 2012 Supervisor Share Posted December 26, 2012 While I'm not shooting down the idea, we have a status update section on the right of the main forum index which you can use by updating your status under your member profile. Also, we have an IRC chatroom for people who want speedier conversation. You can find out how to join the IRC server here. Finally, I don't know if the devs have any plans to put too much work in to our forums at the moment. Not because they're lazy, but because they're working behind the scenes on something...special. At least, that's the word on the block. However, maybe if it is easy to implement the devs will hear you out and go for the shoutbox idea. However, the IRC server i think is the best solution as it is a live chat that is not constantly seen and requires a person to go there at will.
