I am here to ask questions as questioning is important to learning things about software and hardware, as long as it doesn't result in being stabbed with a pencil (that happens sometimes).

PS,

This forum has the most revolting CAPTCHA I have seen, didn't work on deterring me though - which leads me to conclude that I am not software.

Greetings and Welcome to the Neowin Community. to be honest it has been so long i do not know what the captcha looks like for the site. However, for me Captcha can be rather evil as i am color blind.

CAPTCHA here is an interesting concept - outsource CAPTCHA to advertising companies.

There was no distortion - but alas, advertisement before receiving the code which wasn't made from random letters.

Seems the type of security which answer collection can destroy.

Always wanted to write my own CAPTCHA and/or bot...
