Current AutoPatcher XP Information and Download

hello,i`ve reinstalled my win xp today,and while trying to install autopatcher i get message - an unknown error while installing (...) Please restart autopatcher when finished and reinstall the item that failed" and few days ago i`ve installed it with no problem.so what should i do to install it now??? sorry for my poor english :p

first, welcome to neowin! next, your english is fine!

did you run it with /unattend switch? did you get any other errorbox during the installation procedure?

hmm i choose what i want to install , then i click on update and i get the error message- message hedder- installation error `q31... (ms update)` and the message is - an unknown error occured when installing `q31 ..` please restart autopatcher when finished and reinstall the item that failed. i click on ok , and there appears another error , the same text (but next windows update file ) and so on till the end of the installation , so i cant install anything :( mabye i should download ms netframework and install it first ?

Hmmm.... you shouldn't need the .net framework... you're running Windows XP SP1 English, right? Just need to make sure. :)

can you try to delete scrrun.dll from system32 and rerun autopatcher? this is all i can think of atm... btw... what's the error number given?

Ok Guys..

I'm so sorry but so is life while you multitask in my field :wacko:

the correct path to get the file from my server is

www.jaguar1.usouthal.edu/patches/files/AutoPatcherXP_Feb_Patched.zip

I ziped it up but didn't make it an exe like I had in the previous link.

Once again I am sorry for any problems this might of caused.

If you still have the old file.. if you just change the extention to .zip from .exe it should all work fine.

I have already PM'd fish with the correct link.

Once again I'm sorry for the mix up

My version just has the feb patch put in the install.

Other then that it is thr same full install on the other sites.

I just ziped it up and made a new zip instead of an exe.

btw sykeed: does it include *all* the small patches? i mean the *newest* exe and fixed database found in the [patch] thread?

i've got XP sp1 in french(that i suppose you knew)....first ove all does it work in french

and it's the first time i participed in a forum...i mus say..you guy's are cool..

These hotfixes should be removed, newer version is in an another hotfix
