Deleted friend from Facebook but his news keep appearing on my timeline.

My Facebook is now on the new timeline.

I notice that a friend deleted me. However his news keep appearing on my timeline.

I went to his profile hoping to "unfollow" or "unsubcribe" him but I don't see such an option.

Anyone know how to stop this from happening?

Disable "Show in News Feed," it can be enabled or disabled no matter if you're a friend or not

Hover over their name in your News Feed, then over 'Friends' and then click 'Unfriend'.

You can always "block" him in your privacy settings

But I don't get that option when I mouseover "Add Friend" button.

I noticed this with Facebook I unfollowed someone on Facebook and what they post still appeared in the news ticker in the top right, very strange.

Isn't there a place that we can see the list of people we followed or something.

sometimes you can also get updates from friends of friends so you are better off just blocking them outright.
