Maybe I'm blind, but I'm not seeing how you're supposed to import music into the Xbox Music app. I've placed my music in the Music folder Windows creates for you but my music isn't showing up. I didn't think the old Libaries were in Windows 8.1 and if they are I can't find them.

Click the arrow / breadcrumb next to 'This PC', select 'Libraries', select 'Music', select 'Manage' from the ribbon, click 'Manage library' and then add the folder with your music in. The Xbox Music app will then automatically add all the music. It's a horrible process, as there should be a simple way of doing it from with in the app.

I loaded up Windows Media Player and it found the files instantly. Xbox Music app still says it can't find them.

As shown in the second screenshot, there is no Libraries folder even with the arrow clicked. I heard Libraries were removed in 8.1. When I loaded up 8.1 for the first time this is what it looked like, with premade folders for various media.

Even without using libraries the default Music user folder is the default location both WMP and XBM index so they should pick it up.  That's kinda weird actually.
