metallithrax
I am using Chrome Version 28.0.1500.72 m, although this was happening before this version. When on Youtube, any video I watch stutters slightly every 15 seconds or so. I have seen similar problems posted online with regard to Firefox, but none that gives a fix for Chrome. Anyone know what the problem is? Watching a particular video earlier in IE (to narrow down the problem) and had no problems.

Steven P. Administrators Posted July 16, 2013 Administrators Share Posted July 16, 2013 Some things that can fix it. - Close the browser if it has been open for a long time, wait ten seconds before restarting Chrome (memory leak). - Disable unneeded extensions, or any that capture video and try again (after restarting Chrome). ellend20
There are 2 components to Flashplayer in Chrome browser. Navigate to chrome://plugins in the location bar of the Chrome browser. (note: do not go to chrome://extensions) Click "Details" on upper right. Disable Chrome's pepflashplayer.dll component. Enable the Adobe NPSWF32_11_9_900_170.dll component or whateverversion you have.Close browser and reopenand navigate to your Youtube videoor whatever site.It plays without stutter!
