Man of Steel sequel to feature Batman (and others) (2016)

It seems like the 3 movie deal is what everyone signs in the superhero movies nowadays. Also the $300,000 leads me to believe that her scenes are going to be small overall.

For the last two $300k could be a place holder since they will be Justice League and a full Wonder Woman feature,

BTW, one of the BvS locations will be the stainless steel & glass Broad Art Museum at Michigan State University. 46,000 sq/ft (4,300 m2) of exhibition space, but much more total. Very Escher-esq inside.

Whatcha think, STAR Labs or Hall of Justice?

I"m going to guess  that building will be STAR Labs, too soon for a Hall of Justice IMO.

I know Man of Steel was not the best Superman movie but having more heroes into a single movie will mess it up even more.

"I just know good source Ben Affleck will not be Batman. Fan reaction was too strong. Official announcement in a few months."

Where does this BS actually come from!

Jonah Hill made the SAG minimum of $60,000 on the Wolf of Wallstreet; so money shouldn't be an indicator of how much screen time she'll get. But I hope it is small. This should be about Superman.

Ben Affleck Reportedly Summoned To Work On Batman Vs. Superman Right Away

Last Friday, Warner Bros. announced that the release date of Batman Vs. Superman was being pushed back following the shift of the start of production on the film to second quarter of this year. Rumors swirled around the Internet that the production delay was due to Ben Affleck having either a leg injury or a rib injury. However, after a healthy-looking Affleck made some awards show appearances, those rumors seem to die down.

Now, Deadline is reporting that filming on Batman Vs. Superman isn?t being delayed at all. According to their sources, ?word is that production is not being delayed and the main players have been summoned to start work right away.? In fact, the site is reporting that Affleck had to pull out of directing The Middle Man pilot because of the start of production of Batman Vs. Superman.

So yeah, no idea where the news that Afleck is dropping out comes from :/

Very good news, i'm tempted to follow this but at the same time I want to stay away from spoilers, decisions decisions.

Haha! Why even call Batman "reboots" that anymore? We are getting to more reboots than sequels!

With all the reboots, you'd think Batman would get on a more stable operating system by now.

Jesse Eisenberg As Lex Luthor & Jeremy Irons As Alfred

BURBANK, CA, January 31, 2014 ? Warner Bros. Pictures announced today that Jesse Eisenberg has been set to star as Lex Luthor and Jeremy Irons will play Alfred in the upcoming Zack Snyder untitled Superman/Batman film. The dual announcement was made today by Greg Silverman, President, Creative Development and Worldwide Production, and Sue Kroll, President, Worldwide Marketing and International Distribution, Warner Bros. Pictures.

Snyder stated, ?Lex Luthor is often considered the most notorious of Superman?s rivals, his unsavory reputation preceding him since 1940. What?s great about Lex is that he exists beyond the confines of the stereotypical nefarious villain. He?s a complicated and sophisticated character whose intellect, wealth and prominence position him as one of the few mortals able to challenge the incredible might of Superman. Having Jesse in the role allows us to explore that interesting dynamic, and also take the character in some new and unexpected directions.?

The director added, ?As everyone knows, Alfred is Bruce Wayne?s most trusted friend, ally and mentor, a noble guardian and father figure. He is an absolutely critical element in the intricate infrastructure that allows Bruce Wayne to transform himself into Batman. It is an honor to have such an amazingly seasoned and gifted actor as Jeremy taking on the important role of the man who mentors and guides the guarded and nearly impervious fa?ade that encapsulates Bruce Wayne.?

Snyder?s film stars Henry Cavill, reprising his role as Superman/Clark Kent, Ben Affleck as Batman/Bruce Wayne, and Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman/Diana Prince. The film also reunites ?Man of Steel? stars Amy Adams, Laurence Fishburne and Diane Lane.

The new film is currently being written by Chris Terrio, from a screenplay by David S. Goyer. Charles Roven and Deborah Snyder are producing, with Benjamin Melniker, Michael E. Uslan, Wesley Coller, David S. Goyer and Geoff Johns serving as executive producers.

The film is set to open worldwide on May 6, 2016, and is based on Superman characters created by Jerry Siegel & Joe Shuster, Batman characters created by Bob Kane, and Wonder Woman created by William Moulton Marston, appearing in comic books published by DC Entertainment.

Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor? No idea what to think of that. Jeremy Irons as Alfred made me think of the Alfred in "Batman: Earth One". Not sure what to think of Either castings. At the moment I wish it was just a rumour, lol.

"Batman: Earth One" Alfred:

They should really pull that version off.

Well I'll give the studio one bit of credit - I'd have never, ever predicted those castings for those roles!

Yeah, I just tweeted this about him: "I'm okay with Jeremy Irons as Alfred but Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor is a big no for me. Jesse Eisenberg's characters have all been one and the same to me so far. He's just playing the same person with a different name."

So yeah, he'll be ruining that character for me in the film. He does the same quirky things with all of his characters. I just can't see a character played by Jesse Eisenberg having Lex Luthor's motives.

What I just read is kinda true, the outcry from this casting is similar to Affleck casting and Gadot casting and both have been forgiven

That's true. But this is different if you ask me. Heath Ledger had already shown he can play more than one character, Jesse hasn't. I thought the same thing though, with each negative tweet about Jesse's casting, that it might all blow back into my face, haha. And you know how silent I was about Affleck's casting as Batman. Jesse as Lex Luthor is just way different for me.

I do hope it gets blown back into my face and that he pulls it off. But I've seen quite a few movies with him in it and I just can't see it.
