Atomic Wanderer Chicken
I was at a tag sale today and came upon this device. At first I didn't notice it, but after a 2nd sweep of the tag sale I noticed it and knew right away what it was. It is one the very first MP3 players before the Ipod came out. It is a 1998 Diamond Rio PMP300 MP3 player. I put a battery and it worked and even had some music on it. I think the Ipod classic's design may have been inspired by this slightly. I read the Diamond Rio PMP300 was in big RIAA lawsuit back then. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rio_PMP300 Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/1166063-one-of-the-very-first-mp3-players-pre-ipod/ Share on other sites
