psionicinversion
To me i think this is a game changer not just for the x1 or ps4 but for games in general/ You got the x1 ppl bashing about the specs + kinect... ps4 bashing about the specs being so much better even TBH in PC terms x1 has a budget gfx card and ps4 has a mid range at absolute best... there both ###### in terms in gfx performance ala PC so dont start smashing that. although i will admit an maximise SOC and games ioptimies for a single platform will be far better but that isnt the point of what im getting at Its project spark. MS is enabling anybody to create there own game with there own enemies i think i read right you can record movement with the kinetic and the integrate then with your enemies to give some form of basic AI. you can share your game with anyone so someothere person across the pond doesnt know the "AI" and have a fun time. This is a pivotol way of getting really great artists, level designers, umm et animated movie designed like from pixar etc to major collaborate at least on a game... is that not good to you? it will prolly attract massive ppl who are good with storylines as well to fit with the story. tbh its amazing and leading the way??!! oh yeah someone whose got a 4x advanced camera system than PS and whose also willing to back that up with whatever it need to become successful Oh anything there so many ppl seeing really good looking games but complainjing about the storyline, this is there opportuinity to deliver like lucas did for star wars... well chances are it wont but all it take is a 1 in a million chance.. ppl forget that now tell everyone sony is that far thinking?!!! IsItPluggedIn
I agree that Project spark is a game changer in the world of Games. I was going to buy both consoles anyway, but Project Spark works on windows 8 as well as Xbox 1. So it will say a few people but i'm not sure on the amount. I can see my life being taken away from me with this. LBP was bad enough, but this has much more mechanics to play with. The only issue i can see is Size, im not sure if the blank slate they give you can be expanded or if it is limited to 1 square.
psionicinversion
i think from the other thing ive seem it has unlimited space but finite space, i.e. you can create a world up to a finite amount but you can stitch 2 worlds together creating technically unlimited space kinda like i think how sim city online is worked except prolly alot better. think thats how it works. like you have a workspace of 30x30, AND THEN YOU MAKE ANOTHER 30X 30 but you cn stich em together creating a 60x30, i think thats how it works
IsItPluggedIn
Yeah that sounds good. I was afraid it was going to be really small so most games would have to be really short. Which means they would be like phone games these days. I want to build a big story line, which is harder in a small area. I prefer games with good story lines instead of just good graphics. Which is where the FF games have gone, they use to have such good story lines and good characters now it seams all they want to do is have it look pretty. psionicinversion
thats the thing battlefield, call of duty etc the single player games are really short relying on multiplayer to extend life... bioshock infintite tombraider even,, even i thought they were brilliant, going slowly through to maybe discover everything. CoD i ususally burn through vus itrs so predictable. The new tomb rider had so much different crap reminded of the indians jones game fom 1992 on som ###### computer, that was more f8un
psionicinversion
actually thats why the Wii did so well; it didnt rely on gfx but replayabalility which was really high, that everything though replayability uis key
IsItPluggedIn
Yeah, Replay ability is good however it will usually pull away from a good story. Super Mario brothers has replay ability but the story line is weak. Most FPS games dont have much of a story line because they are playing to their target audience which is usually not the people who are into story lines, just start playing shoot some stuff move on. But the RPG's I have played recently really lack a good story line. FF use to be really good at it, fable was ok, but it wasnt interesting enough i didn't care for my character, the same with Skyrim/Dragon age, I just dont care about them. Neir was ok, just a bit slow trying to extend a short story.
