Its looks great but I want to know before hand if it is banned from Xbox Live. What ways (besides connecting to Xbox Live) can I check if it is banned from Xbox Live? But they could just as easily give you a fake number. Is this a local offer or an online one that would be shipped to you? That won't tell you, the console banned flag was deprecated by MS internally long ago. There are two ways to check: 1. Connect to XBL. 2. Enter the serial number on Xbox.com to request a repair. If it lets you proceed, it's unbanned. If it says your warranty is void or something like that, it is banned.
