riahc3
Hello, I want to buy a box where I can plugin various audio input sources and output them to my (7.1) speakers, switching between inputs with a button/switch. The inputs will problably be between a PC and a Xbox 360. A decent receiver ($350-$400) can usually handle 5 or 6 inputs (will also do video). Otherwise you can prob find a cheap audio switch that can do optical and analog inputs Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/1180373-box-to-accept-several-audio-inputs-to-one-common-audio-71-output/#findComment-596004083 Share on other sites
Jeston Veteran Posted October 7, 2013 Veteran Share Posted October 7, 2013 Yep, it's hard to recommend something without your budget. However, my trusted brand for receivers is Onkyo. The TX-NR616 is a nice little beginner 7.2 capable receiver. It can be had on Amazon for much less than the MSRP of $699, only $318 right now. http://www.amazon.com/Onkyo-TX-NR616-7-2-Channel-Certified-Receiver/dp/B0077V88W2/ Of course, I don't know what the retailers available to you offer.
