Brian M. Veteran Posted December 14, 2013 Veteran Share Posted December 14, 2013 I have about 10. I've had a ridiculous amount of phd work which has meant my games consoles haven't been switched on all that much lately. Going to catch up over Christmas :D
McKay
Probably about 50, cleared a big part of the backlog by trading in my 360
vcfan
my backlog has increased substantially, mostly because most of my gaming time is spent playing cod ghosts.
+Majesticmerc MVC Posted December 14, 2013 MVC Share Posted December 14, 2013 Technically I've probably got about 40-60 games I haven't played, but that's because I bought the Eidos pack for ?35 in a Steam sale a couple of years back. Realistically I won't be playing most if any of the remainder now. Even so I've still a whole heap to play: Batman: Arkham Origins Shank 2 Deus Ex: Human Revolution Splinter Cell: Blacklist Assassin's Creed IV Bastion FEZ Gunpoint Kerbal Space Program Trine Far Cry 3 Antichamber Metro: Last Light Tomb Raider (the new one) Bioshock Infinite And with the likes of Watchdogs coming soon and (hopefully) GTA5 PC, that list is only getting longer :/
techbeck
Pretty much one I want to finish, Skyrim. I have the latest Hitman that I never finished. Was storing my game on the MS' cloud, was corrupted, and I lost all my progress. Never wanted to play it again.
spenser.d
I've probably got around 10 or so. Bought four during Microsoft Black Friday week and have been picking up GfG games for the last few months, but I don't get to play as often as I'd like (and Borderlands 2 took me quite a bit longer than I thought it would, not that that was a bad thing). DrunknMunky Veteran Posted December 14, 2013 Veteran Share Posted December 14, 2013 Yeah, I've stopped myself buying as many games recently because I know I'll probably never play most of them. Civ5 is my go-to game. At the moment I'm playing three multiplayer games (one standard, one Gods & Kings and one Brave New World), the longest of which has been going for well over a year. We're about 150 turns in, which is pretty good considering the number of players (one is 6 player, two are 4 player). You might be interested to know Steam added asynchronous multiplayer notification support recently: http://redd.it/1so52x Hope it's used in Civ 6 :D Think he's referring to games purchased cheap (like a steam sale)and havent touched because people can buy dozens or even hundreds of games at ridiculous (sometimes 80%+) savings. Yeah I was :P
AJerman
Oh, I did get those two games free on Steam from the video game award thingy. Haven't touched those. Wasn't Civ 5 one of them? I want to play that one!
theyarecomingforyou
You might be interested to know Steam added asynchronous multiplayer notification support recently: http://redd.it/1so52x Hope it's used in Civ 6 :D Cool, I hadn't seen that. Multiplayer in Civ5 is a dog, so I'd love to see it take advantage of Steam Cloud for multiplayer games. At the moment we have it setup with Google Drive, so every time someone takes a turn they copy it to the cloud folder and share it with the next player. It works but it's rather tedious. We have a look at Giant Multiplayer Robot but decided against using it. I really wish all games would use Steam Cloud, as then I'd probably complete a lot more of them. As it stands if I rarely have the motivation to start from scratch if I lose my game data. GameSave Manager has helped minimise that but Steam Cloud is a lot more convenient. soniqstylz
I made a deal with myself that I won't buy a PS4 (or X1) until I've gotten 70 plats. I don't need to buy any new games to do that (and that's not even counting GRID2 and Borderlands 2 that just came out on PS+).
tsupersonic
Too many games on Steam. Damn you Steam sales!

Nagisan
Out of the 25 Steam games currently installed, 16......out of the Steam games I own, too many to waste time counting. Then there's some DRM games I have floating around on various HDDs and waiting to be downloaded that I haven't even installed yet. And that's of course not counting games I disliked enough to uninstall before completing (pile of shame I guess?).

Ambroos
Major games: Assassins Creed 3 and 4. Pre-ordered 3 over half a year before release and have only played it for about an hour :( I really liked the story in the others so I feel like I have to play it. Indie stuff and some EA games: loads. I've purchased nearly all Humble Bundles (and the Origin one) and have hardly played any of the games. +longgonebn Subscriber² Posted December 15, 2013 Subscriber² Share Posted December 15, 2013 I used to be a huge gamer when Single Player games were short and straightforward, and multiplayer was how many kills you can get. Too much crap these days, how do they expect us to finish everything?

JustGeorge
Ha. Wow. I've also got PS2/XBOX games bought new that still haven't been touched. My biggest problem these days is attention span. Back when I was a kid, I was OCD about finishing a game, but now not so much. Games that require me to memorize various control combinations are my worst enemy. Take for instance Batman: Arkam City, I feel like I'm being dragged around by the hand the whole game, just winging ###### as I go along.

Complicated button combos is the main reason I stay away from (and, frankly, suck at) fighting games. I have like 1/2 a dozen PSP games that I haven't dealt with. I think I might need to just give them & the PSP away.
