devgrp
how do you make those backgrounds blurry:huh:h: Thats called a shallow depth of field. The larger the aperture the easier it is to get. Usually you can get a shallow depth of field if the subject is further away from the background. graeme_7799
ok so er ... how do you change those setting with powershot s400:s:s i don't have much clue how to use my camera more professionall:(:( well unfortunately i'm not familiar with the canon s400. but i know that if you can check the manual it came in, that it will tell you which buttons or w/e to press, so you can change the aperture. look for either f-stop or aperture in the index (they are one in the same, but diff manufacturers and people use both terms) usually these options are in the setup menu. hope this helps!:(:( Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/119405-the-neowin-digital-photo-gallery/page/45/#findComment-1905395 Share on other sites

Sjokkel
This is such a clich? image but i couldn't resist taking it. There was much airtraffic at that moment. Some 4-5 planes crossing almost the same airspace. This plane was flying lowest and it happened to go in front of the moon. I was having a walk in the woods with a tele attached to my camera in case some nice birds would show up, the moon was up high while the sun was almost setting. Image is cropped in half and resized alot. quick
Just a pic from the plane window on my last trip to Canada, nothing special  I love staring out the window at the clouds when you are up at that altitude you can see all the layers. I always pick the window seat :p Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/119405-the-neowin-digital-photo-gallery/page/45/#findComment-1907093 Share on other sites
